The 3RT2 contactor is climate-tested for use in any climate conditions worldwide.
When the application environment of the equipment is different from the standard industrial environment (specified in EN 60721-3-3), it is necessary to consider the impact of the environment on the reliability and service life of the product, and take corresponding protective measures. The 3RT2 contactor has a "finger protection" function as specified in the EN50274.

Add auxiliary contact
The 500 specification contactor body integrates 1 auxiliary contact (1NO or 1NC).
The SO specification contactor body integrates 2 auxiliary contacts (1NO 1NC).
All size contactors can continue to be equipped with removable auxiliary contact blocks.

Contact reliability
Switching at a voltage not exceeding 110 V or a current not exceeding 100 mA, the auxiliary contacts on the 3RT2 contactor or the 3RH2 intermediate relay are extremely reliable.
These contacts also meet the requirements for solid-state circuit use, with a minimum on-current of 1mA at 17V.

Motor reference power
The motor power mentioned in the sample is the reference motor shaft output power (according to the nameplate).

Rated control voltage
All contactors are available in either DC or AC AC operated models.

Surge suppression
The 3RT2 contactor can provide four types of surge suppressors: resistance-capacitance absorption (RC), varistor, suppression diode and diode combination (zener diode and diode combination) to suppress coil surge.

Note:
The use of surge suppressor to suppress the electric current of line III will cause the opening delay of contactor normally open contact N0 and the closing delay of normally closed contact NC (the suppression diode will increase the delay by 6 to 10 times, the diode combination will increase the delay by 2 to 6 times, and the varistor will increase the delay by 2 to 5ms respectively).

Design
The 3RT1 contactor is suitable for any climatic environmental conditions. Safe touch protection in accordance with DIN VDE 0106 Part 100.
The 3RT1 contactor can be wired with screw or cage chuck.
The basic unit auxiliary contact of S00 contactor contains a set of auxiliary contacts, and the basic unit of S0 to S3 specifications is composed of main circuit contacts.
All base units can be extended with auxiliary contact modules. Contact set with 2 normally open contacts and 2 normally closed contacts (terminal design symbol

The auxiliary contact module can be removed.
In addition, for S00 specifications and S0 specifications, the contact group can be fixedly installed with an auxiliary contact module (2 normally open and 2 normally closed, conforming to ENS 0 012 standard). These types comply with the Swiss Special Regulations (SUVA) and are distinguished externally by red signs.
The S3 specification contactor has a movable terminal box connected to the main circuit coupling plate. Thus, ring cable lugs or studs can be connected.
